The process

How it works

Diagnosis with our Qualified Dentist

To see if you're suitable, our dentist will run a diagnosis and make a decision that is right for you.

Implantation Phase

Once suitable, you'll have implantations inserted in your jaw under local anesthesia.

Healing Phase

The implant bonds with your bone during a healing phase (around 6 weeks) - your dentist will advise.

Final Phase

Once your healing phase is over, you will have placement of the final restoration.

Regular Check-Ups

In order to maintain long-term function of your teeth, regular checkups with your dentist is highly recommended.

What Are Dental Implants?

A Dental Implant is used to support one or more false teeth. It is a titanium screw that can replace the root of a tooth when it fails. Just like a tooth root, it is placed into the jawbone. Giving you confidence and comfort in your daily life. Whether it’s biting into an apple or chatting freely to friends and family.

Implants are a well-established, tried-and-tested treatment. Over 95% of modern implants should last for many years with the right care.

Yes. You can have any number of teeth replaced with implants – from one single tooth to a complete set.

It depends on the condition of the bone in your jaw. Your dentist will arrange for a number of special tests to find out the amount of bone still there. If there is not enough, or if it isn’t healthy enough, it may not be possible to place implants without grafting bone into the area first.

Your dentist will be able to give you a rough timetable before the treatment starts.

Usually the permanent teeth are fitted 6 to 9 months after the implants are put in, but many implant systems now allow the time to be as short as 3 months.

Some teeth can now even be fitted at the same time as the implants (known as immediate implants) but you should check with your dentist to see whether these are suitable for you.
